Employee Giving Programs
The Canadian Hemophilia Society, Manitoba Chapter (CHS-MC) is a grassroots, non-profit charity organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with inherited bleeding disorders in the Province of Manitoba. We are not an agency of the United Way or funded by any other government agencies. Donations help fund many programs directly supporting children and adults living with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. It is our mission to:
“improve the quality of life for those affected by hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders through support, service, research, education and advocacy.”
Employee Directed Giving Programs
Increasingly, Canadians prefer to give to the charities of their choice through their workplace Employee Directed Giving campaigns. Making a donation through a payroll deduction plan is a painless way to give a more significant amount to the charity of your choice, as a portion of the donation comes off each pay period. Some employers will match or even double your gift!
Many companies and organizations launch Employee Directed or Employee Charitable Fund workplace campaigns in the fall each year to coincide with the United Way Campaign. All you need to do is provide the CHS-MC’s Registered Charitable Organization number listed below and select a donation amount to be deducted each pay period to ensure that your donation is directed to the Manitoba Chapter.
Some companies will invite a charity to give lunchtime presentations or provide the charity an opportunity to have a display table. The Manitoba Chapter welcomes any occasion to educate the public about inherited bleeding disorders.
Ask your employer about their charitable giving campaign and how you can donate to the Canadian Hemophilia Society, Manitoba Chapter. Here is the information you will need to make your donation:
