The Canadian Hemophilia Society, Manitoba Chapter (CHS-MC) is a grassroots, non-profit charity organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with inherited bleeding disorders in the Province of Manitoba. We are not an agency of the United Way or funded by any other government agencies. Donations help fund many programs directly supporting children and adults living with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. It is our mission to:
“improve the quality of life for those affected by hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders through support, service, research, education and advocacy.”
Annual Gala Dinner of Culinary Inspirations
The annual Gala Dinner is our most significant fundraiser that allows us to continue to provide support, service, education and advocacy to the inherited bleeding disorders community in Manitoba. The gala is usually held in the month of March and has been located at the downtown Delta Winnipeg for many years. The event showcases Winnipeg chefs who dazzle our 250 guests with their culinary creativity. The evening includes a sponsored cocktail hour, amazing prizes and dancing.
Please visit the Gala web pages on to learn more about this premiere culinary evening in support of the bleeding disorders community.
Annual Golf Tournament
The Chapter’s annual Golf Tournament is held in early September and we have enjoyed the hospitality of Bridges Golf Course outside of Starbuck Manitoba. This is a great day of golf on a beautiful course while supporting the Chapter’s programs and services. Our patrons enjoy lunch, the games on the course and the prizes offered after they come in from golfing.
